As we move toward summer 2025, the reality in Ukraine remains critical. The past month has brought an alarming increase in missile and drone attacks, targeting civilians and vital infrastructure. Kyiv, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Kryvyi Rih, Sumy – Ukraine is under the fire every single day.
Yet even in these challenging moments, your support is a beacon of hope. We’re deeply grateful to our entire community for standing with Ukraine — through every delivery, every rally, and every message of solidarity. Together, we’re not only responding to urgent needs — we’re showing Ukrainians they are not alone.
Maryna Baydyuk, President of the United Help Ukraine:
“As U.S.-Russia talks have yet to yield real progress, we must make it clear to Americans and the global community: Russia’s brutal assault continues—leaving Ukrainians to bear the daily cost of defending freedom.”
UHU delivered a full 40-foot container of medical supplies to the Vinnytsia Regional Administration, which distributes these items to hospitals across the region. The shipment included a wide range of critical supplies and medical equipment, ensuring broad and flexible support to multiple healthcare facilities.
Medical Aid Program and UHU team have also delivered two full containers to hospitals in Zaporizhzhia, one to their Regional Hospital and another to their Emergency Care Hospital. Given the urgent and high-volume medical needs in the region — including a large number of wounded — both facilities operate extensive surgical units and are facing constant demand for advanced care.
At the National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine, cadets and officers regularly train in the Combat Lifesaver Course (CLS) led by UHU’s ICTM instructors. This second-level battlefield medical training teaches how to stop severe bleeding, manage major blood loss, and evacuate the wounded. It concludes with field practice and certification, providing soldiers with real, life-saving skills for combat.
So far in 2025, our ICTM project has trained over 5,824 defenders across 157 classes. Thanks to your support, we’re able to maintain and expand this vital training, equipping more Ukrainians with essential battlefield medical expertise.
Since the start of 2025, our Transportation Project has delivered critical results on the ground. Thanks to your support, we’ve provided 5 ambulances to frontline areas. We’ve also deployed 25 evacuation vehicles to safely transport wounded civilians and soldiers and a winter camper to improve living conditions for an air defense unit.
In addition to delivering vehicles, our team has repaired 85 vehicles, ensuring existing emergency transport remains operational. In the first three months of 2025, UHU distributed over 500 winter tires to Ukrainian defenders. These efforts are vital to supporting evacuations and saving lives on the frontlines.
Following last month’s Ukraine Action Summit, our advocacy efforts continue across the country — from meetings on Capitol Hill to local rallies in cities nationwide. Thanks to your engagement, more than 70 U.S. senators have co-sponsored a bill for stronger sanctions on Russia. Your advocacy also helped drive the creation of the U.S.-Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund — a fund that respects Ukraine’s sovereignty and supports its recovery.
Together with our partners and supporters, we continue to remind policymakers and communities that Ukraine urgently needs their voice, support, and action. Stay engaged and explore our events and webinars.
From all of us at United Help Ukraine, thank you for being part of this mission. Your support keeps hope alive — and delivers real impact.
