Women in Medicine: The Voice of Change Emerged in Lviv

Women in Medicine

On September 27, 2025, in Lviv, United Help Ukraine proudly sponsored an important event — the National Forum “Women in Medicine: The Voice of Change”. This landmark event brings together Ukrainian and international experts and is dedicated to promoting and supporting women’s leadership in healthcare.
Healthcare in Ukraine, especially during wartime, is a field where 83% of professionals are women. United Help Ukraine supports women’s leadership and professional growth in medicine and expresses deep gratitude for the hard and selfless work they do every day to save lives and restore the health of Ukrainians.
We also extend our thanks to the event organizers and our partners — Global Medical Knowledge Alliance and Razom for Ukraine. By working together, we save lives and build a resilient healthcare system in Ukraine.
Another initiative that United Help Ukraine proudly sponsored was the National Forum with International Participation, “Quality & Safety in Healthcare”, held on September 26 in Lviv, Ukraine.
The event served as a significant platform for advancing Ukrainian healthcare, bringing together administrators, doctors, educators, patient organization representatives, and international experts. Speakers included specialists from leading global institutions — Harvard Medical School, King’s College London, Stanford Medicine, University of Wisconsin-Madison, and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine (Ukrainian: Міністерство охорони здоров’я України).
• Participants gained practical tools and international experience for implementing modern standards of quality and safety.
• Special attention was given to safety culture, leadership, and teamwork.
Supporting Ukrainian healthcare today is an investment in the lives and well-being of people who continue to work and save lives every day, even during wartime. We are confident that initiatives like this strengthen Ukraine’s healthcare system and lay the foundation for its future development. Make an impact today by supporting our Medical Aid Program.
