Individual Trajectory of a Leader: Program For Ukrainian Students

Program For Ukrainian Students

At Ukraine House in Washington, D.C., United Help Ukraine signed a memorandum with Dr. Serhiy Kvit, President of the National University Kyiv-Mohyla Academy, to provide scholarships for 30 extraordinary students in the “Individual Trajectory of a Leader” program, implemented since 2023 at the Kyiv-Mohyla School of Professional and Continuing Education.

These remarkable young Ukrainians — children of displaced families, defenders, and fallen heroes — are learning to lead with courage, resilience, and vision. Through mentorship, leadership training, and real-world experience, they are preparing to shape the future of their communities and their country. By investing in these students, we are not just supporting education — we are nurturing the leaders who will carry Ukraine forward.

About Individual Trajectory of a Leader Program

The “Trajectory of Leadership” is a specialized educational initiative designed to support teenagers whose childhoods have been profoundly impacted by war. Hosted by the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy in collaboration with the Ukrainian diaspora in the USA and United Help Ukraine the program provides a safe, empowering space for the children of fallen Ukrainian defenders to discover their inner strength and broaden their horizons for the future.

Implemented through the Kyiv Mohyla School of Professional and Continuing Education, the program offers a comprehensive six-month curriculum for students in grades 10 and 11. It focuses on three core pillars:
Leadership Development: Cultivating essential skills to help young people set goals and lead with confidence.
Academic Preparation: Providing free, expert-led training to ensure students successfully complete the National Multi-subject Test (NMT).
Career Guidance: Helping participants make informed, practice-oriented choices regarding their future professional paths.

By supporting Ukrainian youth, you make a meaningful contribution to the further economical and social development.
