This is our second contribution of an oven to Good Bread from Good People since 2024. This will enable them to continue their mission of promoting dignity, inclusion, and community support.
We’re proud to continue our partnership with this Kyiv-based Ukrainian nonprofit bakery, which bakes fresh bread for displaced families and frontline communities while providing meaningful jobs for people with developmental disabilities.
The first baking oven was donated in November 2024. Thank you for supporting United Help Ukraine and the brave people of Ukraine. Consider donating to support the Humanitarian Welfare Program.
Good Bread from Good People is more than a bakery. In addition to the primary mission of supporting individuals with disabilities, the Good Bread from Good People platform is also actively engaged in humanitarian aid. Since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russia, their bakery has been baking and freely distributing bread to those in need. Initially, the bakery provided bread to various districts in Kyiv and later expanded to liberated towns and villages in the Kyiv and Chernihiv regions.
Currently, Good Bread from Good People sends and delivers approximately 5,000 loaves of bread weekly to Kharkiv and its de-occupied territories. They also make deliveries to the Donetsk region, including Bakhmut, and provide bread to the Luhansk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions. This amount of bread became possible thanks to the team’s persistence and your support.
Good Bread from Good People has also expanded its operations by establishing the “4th Floor” inclusive space for independent living and the Art Space Ar/Br art studio, where individuals with intellectual disabilities can develop their creative skills.
