Donate Halloween Candies Leftovers in Fairfax

Halloween Candy Leftovers in Washington DC Donation Opportunity: an orange bag with typical Halloween treats, United Help Ukraine and Washington Ukrainian Humanitarian Centre logos.

Bring some joy to Ukrainian children this Halloween!

Halloween is just around the corner, and in the United States, it’s all about treats, not tricks, for our kids. However, the reality is starkly different for Ukrainian children living through the horrors of war in their country.

Please join us in making the lives of Ukrainian children a little sweeter by donating any extra Halloween candy you may have this year. United Help Ukraine (UHU), together with Saint Andrew’s Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral will collect candy, package it, and ship it to Ukraine in late November so that candy will reach the children in time for Christmas.

You can drop off the candy starting Wednesday, October 29th, through Friday, November 7th, in VA or MD:

In Virginia, the collection boxes are located in the UHU office building lobby next to the elevators:
10306 Eaton Pl,
Fairfax, VA 22030.
Monday-Friday, 08:00 AM – 06:00 PM.

In Maryland, Saint Andrew’s Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral – the boxes will be set up outside of the church
15100 New Hampshire Ave,
Silver Spring, MD 20905
Every day, All hours.

You can also organize your collection point using your network of friends, colleagues, and neighbors. Please reach out to us if you need posters.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

If you have any questions, please contact the UHU team at info@unitedhelpukraine.org.

Once collected, team UHU will package the candy into 1lb bags, ensuring each child receives a special treat. We will ship packaged candy to arrive just before Christmas or New Year’s, just in time for the holiday season!
