We’ve reached a major milestone through our International Center for Tactical Medicine (Міжнародний центр тактичної медицини ІСТМ UHU) – training over 20,000 Ukrainian defenders in lifesaving battlefield care. Countless lives saved.
These aren’t just numbers.
Every person trained means:
• a soldier who can stop catastrophic bleeding.
• a medic who can stabilize a teammate.
• a defender who knows what to do when seconds mean the difference between life and death.
This knowledge saves lives. This training is urgent. And back to March, 2025 Our International Center for Tactical Medical Training (ictm.uhu) got NAEMT certification!
And none of it is possible without your support of UHU Tactical Medicine Project.
Back in May, UHU’s President and Executive Director, Maryna Baydyuk, visited the Academy to reflect on past initiatives and plan new directions for cooperation. One major milestone: the integration of the TCCC CLS tactical medicine course into the Academy’s cadet training program.
During the meeting, Maryna Baydyuk and the ICTM instructional staff were awarded with a medal for their contribution to the development of the National Guard of Ukraine.
After the meeting, the delegation of United Help Ukraine Kyiv visited the cadets’ practical tactical medicine training sessions, conducted by United Help Ukraine’s ICTM (Міжнародний центр тактичної медицини ІСТМ UHU) under the terms of the agreement.
As of today, more than 350 individuals have been trained by ICTM at the CLS level (Combat Lifesaver Course) at the NGU Academy.
Through our ICTM (International Center for Tactical Medicine) program, we’re equipping Ukraine’s future officers with the critical knowledge and skills needed to save lives on the battlefield.
United, we train to protect.
United, we train to save lives.
United, we relentlessly support Ukraine’s future.
