1 Year Anniversary of United Help Ukraine’s Subsidiary in Ukraine

A Year of Impact in Kyiv: United Help Ukraine Anniversary. The United Help Ukraine Team and special guests celebrate the first-year anniversary of their official Kyiv Office, marking a significant milestone for the U.S.-based charity's work in Ukraine.

One year ago, we opened the United Help Ukraine’s office in Ukraine uhu.ua. Since then, we have grown, scaled our projects, and become stronger. Reflecting on the past year, we are proud to share the results of our team’s work in Ukraine for 2024:

🔹 International Tactical Medicine Center ISTM UHU – The tactical medicine center in Kyiv was restructured, and a new center opened in Lviv. 9,004 defenders completed tactical medicine courses, 16 instructors received state certification from the Ukrainian Military Medical Academy, and 22 instructors are certified by NAEMT.

🔹 SMUHA – 10,080 children and parents received psychological support as part of our SMUHA Family Resilience Project in Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Ivano-Frankivsk. 258 psychologists were trained to help more children and families.

🔹 “Little Heroes” – 462 children completed mine safety training in Chernihiv as part of our “Little Heroes” project, learning how to act when encountering mines or unexploded ordnance.

🔹 PM+ – We began the training of 15 psychologists according to WHO standards as part of the National Program “How Are You?” and the WHO office in Ukraine.

🔹 Reboot – We’re preparing the first trauma therapy center for veterans in Ukraine, where veterans and their families will receive comprehensive support. Opening is planned for 2025.

🤝 Partnerships – We’ve signed agreements with the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs, the National Guard, higher education institutions, and public organizations. A memorandum has been signed with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), AH Cluster, and Health Cluster.

We have many plans and big goals to support Ukraine, and we are working every day to make them a reality! Thank you to everyone who supports us – united, we help more people and save lives in Ukraine! 2025 will be even stronger 💛💙
