Supporting the Smuha family resilience project is more than just a donation – it is a lifeline for Ukrainian children and parents navigating the aftermath of war.
United Help Ukraine is supporting Ilya’s journey of regaining his independence and freedom. As he receives full prostheses of both arms at the Medical Center Orthotics & Prosthetics in Silver Spring, Maryland we are covering all transportation, housing, food, interpreters, and other non-medical needs.
Help us build the “House of Kindness”, a transformative community center designed to provide resources for families to heal and grow. This colorful bright hub will have areas of learning and play for children, while parents can also receive support and learn new skills.
Ilya and Denis, two Ukrainian defenders whose lives have been tragically changed as a result of the war, have been able to come to the United States to receive prosthesis and rehabilitation because of your support!
A heartfelt thank you goes out to Potvin Socks, a Connecticut Based company, for their incredible donation of 500 pairs of socks to be used towards our humanitarian efforts!
