What a truly amazing and vibrant September it was in the Washington area! Two celebratory festivals took place back-to-back, offering an immersive dive into the rich Ukrainian and Taiwanese national food and culture.

The 2025 Taiwan Bubble Tea Festival took place on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 10 AM to 4 PM at Rockville Town Square. The annual Bubble Tea Festival, a popular community event, is organized collaboratively by Taiwan Sister Cities (TSC) and the Rockville Sister Cities Corporation. Celebrating Taiwanese culture through its famous bubble tea, the festival has experienced rapid growth, attracting over 12,000 visitors in 2024. Attendees enjoy a lively program featuring numerous bubble tea vendors, cultural acts, live musical performances, and activities suitable for all ages.
