Right now, Ukrainian families are mourning the loss of loved ones. In just one night, Russian forces launched widespread attacks across the country, killing 3 civilians and injuring at least 37. The strikes hit the Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Kherson oblasts, among other regions.
In the previous two days, the intense assaults were carried out across Ukraine, killing at least 11 people and injuring 107 more. The strikes on June 10 and June 17 included one of the heaviest assaults on Kyiv since the start of the full-scale invasion.
Each day, lives are lost due to the deployment of waves of drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles, most aimed at residential areas and civilian infrastructure. These are not military targets — they are children’s schools, family homes, and hospitals filled with patients.
Last night, Russia unleashed one of the deadliest attacks on Kyiv since the full-scale invasion began. At least 15 people were killed, and 124 others injured, as waves of missiles and drones rained down on the capital.
Residential buildings and civilian infrastructure were among the primary targets. President Zelenskyy reported damage in eight districts of Kyiv, with search and rescue efforts ongoing as emergency workers dig through rubble — including at a destroyed apartment block. These aren’t military targets, just residential buildings.
