Thank you to everyone who joined us today in the largest Independence Day Parade in the nation! For the third year in a row, United Help Ukraine organized the Ukrainian section of the parade.
We are grateful for the Embassy of Ukraine in the USA / Посольство України в США for marching alongside us and the Ukrainian community of DC. We were also joined by Carpathia Folk Dance Ensemble, VODA, and U-Generation, and we thank them for sharing their talents with the American crowd. A big thank you to Ukraine Rally DC and Svitanok.nyc members for marching with us as well.
We marched to “Baraban” by Artem Pivovarov and Klavdia Petrivna, while reminding everyone that the freedoms that are celebrated on this day are the same freedoms Ukrainians are fighting for today. More photos from the National Independence Day Parade.
