On September 19–20, United Help Ukraine joined the annual
Washington Ukrainian Festival at St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral in Silver Spring, Maryland, celebrating Ukrainian culture and heritage alongside the local community.
The festival brought together families, friends, and supporters for a weekend of Ukrainian music, traditional food, dance, and cultural activities. At the UHU booth, visitors had the opportunity to learn about our programs, explore Ukraine-themed merchandise, and discover how they can help people affected by Russia’s war against Ukraine.
Events like the Washington Ukrainian Festival help preserve Ukrainian cultural identity, strengthen connections within our community, and keep support for Ukraine alive.
