More than 400 soldiers have experienced solace on a farm, working through the complex emotions that come with experiencing life on the frontlines.
The human, and animal bond delivers both psychological and physical benefits, especially for treating posttraumatic stress disorder. For many of these defenders, these therapy sessions marked a turning point – a precious moment where thoughts of war temporarily faded away.
