Medical Exchange Program

Nine medical doctors from Ukrainian state institutions who provide rehabilitation services to veterans, military personnel, and individuals affected by the war participated in an exchange program in Germany.

This initiative marks a crucial step in enhancing the knowledge and skills of Ukrainian doctors, enabling them to implement leading evidence-based practices and rehabilitation techniques used across Europe.

Upon returning to Ukraine, the participating doctors will continue to receive consultations from their German colleagues for several months to support the proper implementation of the knowledge they have gained.

This initiative is part of the broader UHU – REBOOT project, which focuses on the rehabilitation and recovery of veterans.

The course was made possible thanks to funding from municipal and community projects between North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany) and the Dnipropetrovsk region, with the support of United Help Ukraine (USA), Thomasius-Stiftung für internationale Bildung und Wissenschaft, and UkraineHilfe Düsseldorf.

We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to this initiative. Together, we are advancing high-quality rehabilitation in Ukraine.
