On March 31, at the Saint Sophia Cathedral in Kyiv, the President and Executive Director of United Help Ukraine, Maryna Baydyuk, was honored with the International Women’s Award “Guardian of Humanity.” This award recognizes outstanding women for their efforts in strengthening their countries and fostering connections with Ukraine.

It is a distinction awarded to women whose tireless work supports displaced persons, aids the wounded, saves lives in frontline regions, and advocates for Ukraine’s interests on the international stage.

The award highlights remarkable women from Ukraine and around the world whose efforts shape the country’s future and bring victory closer. The award has deep historical roots, as its categories are named after women of Kyivan Rus, who played pivotal roles in Europe’s political, cultural, and charitable life. This once again underscores Ukraine’s significant contribution to the development of European civilization.

Receiving this award is a recognition and an encouragement for our team & community of supporters to continue our unwavering support for Ukraine.
