From Retirement to the Frontlines

Ambulances delivered from Italy to the frontlines: a lifeline for Ukraine. Four ambulances in the picture with two volunteers.

These ambulances have been reborn as lifelines for Ukraine’s defenders! Thanks to your support, we secured, refurbished, and deployed four ambulances at the start of 2025, ensuring they reach those in need.

Here’s how:
1️⃣ Purchased: We bought retired ambulances from Italian municipalities, including 1 through the Gifts of Hope 2024 holiday catalog, arriving with essential medical supplies intact.
2️⃣ Delivered: Our partners Overwatch Ukraine delivered these ambulances from Italy, covering all delivery and fuel costs.
3️⃣ Refurbished: Our program refurbished any damages to the vehicles, ensuring they are ready for action.
4️⃣ Distributed: These ambulances were delivered to Chernivtsi and deployed to:
✅ Uman – supporting a civilian hospital;
✅ National Guard units – aiding defenders;
✅ ZSU units – evacuating the wounded.

Your donations made this possible. We won’t stop—every life matters!
