Last week, Maryna Baydyuk, President of United Help Ukraine, convened with distinguished members of the Ukrainian diaspora, diplomats from the Embassy of Ukraine in the USA / Посольство України в США, and key representatives from the Ukrainian public sector for a crucial meeting with the United States State Department, USAID – US Agency for International Development, and the International Organization for Migration (IOM – UN Migration).
Under the moderation of US Special Representative Dorothy McAuliffe from the Department of State’s Office of Global Partnerships, the discussion focused on fostering effective collaboration to bolster Ukraine in its long-term recovery and post-war reconstruction efforts, while also urgently addressing humanitarian needs arising from the ongoing war.
These transparent dialogues, uniting members of the Ukrainian community, U.S. representatives, and other vested stakeholders, serve as a powerful mechanism for pinpointing and addressing Ukraine’s most critical concerns. Our shared objective is to effect positive change in Ukraine’s path to recovery, and we extend our heartfelt appreciation to the United States for their unwavering support and for inviting United Help Ukraine to partake in this vital conversation. We eagerly anticipate future collaborations as we work together towards our shared mission of helping people and saving lives.
