Celebrating a remarkable achievement: President of United Help Ukraine receives the National Order of Merit, 3rd Degree from President Zelensky.
In a historic moment during his visit to the United States, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky personally awarded United Help Ukraine President Maryna Baydyuk the National Order of Merit, 3rd Degree, in recognition of UHU’s unwavering support in the face of adversity.
At an event held at the National Archive Thursday night, President Zelensky also presented the same medal to other representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora, including leaders of organizations UHU has partnered with, as well as to UHU board member Yuri Deychakiwsky.
We thank our supporters, who have been the driving force behind our organization, and who have made our mission to help people and save lives possible.
The award, the National Order of Merit, 3rd Degree, serves as a testament to the incredible work of United Help Ukraine and highlights the importance of international solidarity in times of crisis. It also underscores the enduring bond between Ukraine and the United States, as they stand together in the pursuit of peace and justice.
Join us in congratulating Maryna and Yuri for this well-deserved recognition, and in expressing our continued support for Ukraine’s courageous fight for freedom and independence towards a brighter and peaceful future.
