Celebrating a remarkable achievement

In a historic moment during his visit to the United States, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky personally awarded United Help Ukraine President Maryna Baydyuk the National Order of Merit, 3rd Degree, in recognition of UHU’s unwavering support in the face of adversity.

Effective collaboration to bolster Ukraine in its long-term recovery

Last week, Maryna Baydyuk, President of United Help Ukraine, convened with distinguished members of the Ukrainian diaspora, diplomats from the Embassy of Ukraine in the USA / Посольство України в США, and key representatives from the Ukrainian public sector for a crucial meeting with the United States State Department, USAID – US Agency for International Development, and the International Organization for Migration (IOM – UN Migration).

Welcoming our Ukrainian hero, Heorhii Roshka, in Washington DC

Heorhii is a marine from Azovstal who showed incredible bravery defending the freedom of Ukraine. He was wounded in battle and lost his arm a month before the order to surrender. Along with his fellow soldiers, he was taken as a prisoner of war by Russian forces. When finally released, Heorhii was among the wounded and in a frail state, bearing the physical toll of his experiences, but his resilient spirit remained unshaken.
