On Saturday, September 14, 2024, United Help Ukraine (UHU) will come together to recognize our impactful work in providing humanitarian aid to the people and first defenders in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine that began in February, 2020, UHU has provided more than $69.5 million in aid.
We are thrilled to present our inaugural humanitarian awards to honor individuals, corporations and civic organizations that have made a tremendous impact in partnering with UHU as well as their overall impact on Ukraine.
Founded in 2014 as a response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the United Help Ukraine mission is to provide the people of Ukraine with critical support that will enable them to survive in the face of adversity, to defend and regain their sovereign territory, and to rebuild and thrive well into the future. UHU is committed to maximizing the impact of charitable contributions by providing humanitarian, medical and psychological assistance to those affected by the war. We also focus on raising awareness and advocating for Ukraine to remain a free, democratic and independent nation.
Our Inaugural New York Gala proceeds will directly support UHU’s year-round programming. 94 cents of every dollar raised supports United Help Ukraine programs. UHU currently partners with more than 40 corporate and nonprofit partners to execute its mission and maintain operational efficiency.
