We are honored to collaborate once again with Daria Kolomiec — renowned Ukrainian cultural activist, creator and producer of the Diary of War documentary project. Since 2022, Daria has been volunteering between Kyiv and New York City, sharing Ukrainian culture with American audiences and raising funds to support Ukraine. Recognized by Time magazine as a Next Generation Leader, she brings firsthand war testimonies to the stage, where they are read by American actors.
On February 24, we partner to bring Diary of War to the West End Theater in New York City. This powerful benefit reading will amplify the voices of Ukrainians whose lives were forever changed by Russia’s full-scale invasion. Presented by Bedlam and The Private Theatre, the event transforms real wartime experiences into an unforgettable theatrical performance.
Directed by Musa Gurnis, Diary of War shares the stories of seven Ukrainians — from combat medics to war journalists and those who endured occupation. Their accounts will be brought to life by acclaimed American actors, including Laila Robins, Jay O. Sanders, Ismenia Mendes, B Norwood, Jake Hart, Carson Elrod, and more.
The evening opens with a special performance by singer and bandura player Teryn Kuzma and vocalist Ulana Pryjmak. Following the reading, a charity auction will feature exclusive items, including a vintage Ukrainian vinyl from Marat Shevchenko’s collection, a book on wartime symbols co-authored by Yurii Marchenko, and a limited-edition chevron designed by Iryna Tsybukh.
This event is more than a performance — it is a cultural and humanitarian effort. 100% of proceeds will be donated to United Help Ukraine to support Hospitallers, a volunteer organization of combat medics providing emergency battlefield care. Since 2014, Hospitallers has saved over 17,000 lives and continues its vital work on the front lines.
