On November 18, “Diary of War: Women” by Daria Kolomiec, directed by Musa Gurnis, brought the raw, unfiltered stories of seven Ukrainian women to life on the New York stage. Hosted at the Bedlam at the West End Theatre, this powerful reading shared stories of survival, resilience, and courage during Russia’s full-scale invasion. The event marked the 1,000th day of the full-scale war and raised over $16,000 to support combat medics in Ukraine —helping save lives on the frontlines.
Featuring stories from combat medics, photojournalists, singers, and survivors, the evening was a moving tribute to Ukrainian courage. Highlights included a stirring performance by Anastasiya Voytyuk BanduraGirl and a charity auction with rare Ukrainian wines and striking art.
