United Help Ukraine participated in the
Taiwan Bubble Tea Festival in Rockville, Maryland , joining local families and organizations in a celebration of Taiwanese culture, food, music, and community.
The festival brought an opportunity to connect with the Taiwanese-American community, introduce visitors to Ukrainian culture, and share UHU’s mission of supporting the people of Ukraine. It was also a chance to celebrate the values that bring our communities together: freedom, democracy, peace, and the preservation of cultural identity.
A highlight of the event was a visit from
Ambassador Alexander Yui-Tah Ray, Taiwan’s Representative to the United States who stopped by the UHU booth to meet our team and learn more about our work in Ukraine.
We thank the festival organizers for welcoming us for the third year and everyone who visited our booth, learned about our mission, and showed their support for Ukraine.
