A Childhood in Ukraine: Learning How to Save Lives

For many children in Ukraine, learning first aid is not just another activity. It is part of growing up during war.

Air raid sirens, missile attacks, and emergencies have become part of everyday life. That is why our youngest participants took part in a specially adapted first aid course through our ICTM Project, Міжнародний центр тактичної медицини ІСТМ UHU, where they learned how to recognize danger, respond calmly, and know when to ask for help.

Every child deserves a childhood filled with play, curiosity, and opportunity, not the need to prepare for emergencies. Until that day comes, United Help Ukraine will continue giving children the knowledge and confidence to stay safe.

Together, we can help protect the next generation.
