Help Ukrainian Kids Go Back to School Safely

Back to school

Nearly 4,000 schools and educational institutions have been damaged or destroyed as a result of Russian attacks.

One recent, tragic attack occurred on June 24, when Russian missile strikes devastated the city of Dnipro — destroying homes, injuring children, and damaging 19 schools, 10 kindergartens, a vocational school, and a music school.

With the war’s escalation and Russia’s loathsome targeted attack on children, not only are we asking you to help them with basic school supplies, but we are asking you to help keep them safe.

Help Us Fill 250 Backpacks with Critical Supplies

With your help, United Help Ukraine aims to provide 250 children across the country with the essential supplies they need to return to school.

These children aren’t just receiving school supplies like pens, pencils, and sketchbooks — this year, we’re also including flashlights and portable batteries, because their days are shaped by air raid sirens and sheltering from attacks.

These backpacks go beyond school kits — they’re tools that help children learn and survive during ongoing attacks.

When checking out, be sure to select delivery to United Help Ukraine so your items go straight into the backpacks. Every backpack you help fill offers a sense of security to a child living through war.

No matter where Ukrainian children study—in a shelter, a temporary classroom, or far from home — your support helps them keep going.

Last year we stocked Superhero Classrooms with essential supplies.

Thank you for making this possible.
