Lenny Emson (He/Him)
Ukrainian-born LGBTQ+ human rights activist with 20 years of experience in the movement. Former Executive Director of TGEU and President of EPOA, Lenny founded the NGO Pride in UA, supporting local activism amid war, and serves on the Board of Outright International. He formerly led KyivPride and its humanitarian initiatives during the Russian invasion.
Sofia Lapina (She/Her)
President and founder of UKRAINEPRIDE NGO, Sofia is a human rights defender, hate crimes expert, and one of Ukraine’s leading LGBTQ+ voices. She has worked with the UN, OSCE, and U.S. State Department, and was named one of Kyiv Post’s “Top 30 Under 30” for her impact on democratic values and LGBTQ+ rights.
