As the war continues to impact Ukrainian society, this discussion will focus on one of its most heartbreaking aspects: the forced abduction and deportation of Ukrainian children by Russia.

Featuring 2022 Nobel Peace Prize Winner Oleksandra Matviichuk and head of the UNWLA’s “Return Ukraine’s Children” initiative Marta Fedoriw, this webinar is a call to action for justice, accountability, and the safe return of Ukraine’s stolen children.

We will explore the scale of these war crimes, the psychological impact on the children and their families, ongoing rescue and repatriation efforts, and the legal and diplomatic responses. Join us for a powerful discussion hosted by Dr. Maryna Baydyuk, United Help Ukraine’s President & Executive Director, who will be joining live from Ukraine.

Speakers:
Oleksandra Matviichuk, Head of the Center for Civil Liberties
Marta Fedoriw, Chair, Return Ukraine’s Children, UNWLA
