Today, President Zelenskyy addressed a joint session of Congress, where he thanked the Biden Administration, the Congress, and the American people for their ongoing support of Ukrainians in their fight against Russian aggression. He also took a moment to acknowledge the Ukrainian Diaspora for their efforts to make an impact on lives in Ukraine. Our president, Maryna Baydyuk, was honored to represent United Help Ukraine at this historic event (Maryna is pictured in the yellow).
Zelenskyy presented Speaker Pelosi and Congress with a Ukrainian flag signed by soldiers from the front lines in Bakhmut, where our organization is also focusing to provide aid to civilians and defenders. Bakhmut has been a hotspot for some of the most intense fighting on the front lines.
