A volunteer from the charitable fund “Prykhystok” tells us about one of their trips.
“You asked me about some travel stories… So here’s a story from last week. The route stretched across Ukraine from Chernivtsi up to Selydove in Donetsk Oblast. Our volunteer Ruslan went to the guys and spent a night there. In the morning they asked if we could transport the wounded to a hospital. We were able to accommodate 12 people in our car. Six of them just laid one next to the other in the back of the car, in the cargo area. They were heavily wounded. The others sat in the front. On the way to the destination, the shelling started. They were fleeing through a wide field, without even a hint of a road, the shells were flying by…
But they managed to escape. No one had been hurt, and the car is almost undamaged.
As for the house where our volunteer spent the night, it had been destroyed a few day ago. Thank God the guys were not in it!
On this trip we delivered food, generators, tablets, hygiene items, and medicine to a military hospital and to 3 different brigades.”
