United Help Ukraine provided necessary funds ($7,390) to purchase rehabilitation training machine for wounded veteran Vadym Ushakov.
Vadym Ushakov served in the 81st Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. On April 12, 2016, he was severely wounded near Avdiyivka. Vadym was awarded the Order “For Courage”.
Since the time of his injury, Vadym has been continuously working toward his recovery and had been making a noticeable progress. However, with the introduction of the quarantine in Ukraine, he was forced to stay at home without the access to necessary equipment. Vadym has a great desire to return to a full life. He should not stop his training, and this rehabilitation machine will help him to continue his recovery, UHU is grateful for the opportunity to help the Hero! We are wishing Vadym a speedy recovery!
We wish to thank Vadim Sviridenko Вадим Свириденко, the Commisioner of the President of Ukraine for Rehabilitation of Wounded Soldiers, for supporting Vadym Ushakov in his way for recovery!
