A portion of the funds raised during our March 19, 2016 concert “Pianists for Ukrainian Soldiers” was used to benefit Anatoliy Fateiev. Anatoliy was a sapper. He lost his legs in July 2015 after stepping on a landmine while clearing the road near the village of Mariinka.
Юлія Северин, a volunteer from Kyiv, writes to us: “United Help Ukraine, you are simply magicians! Thanks to you, our Hero’s dream came true: Anatoliy Fateiev was presented with the brand new motoroller (scooter). To choose the proper vehicle, we had to visit several showrooms. In the end, Anatoliy has selected the bike that is both convenient and secure. From now on, Anatoliy will be able to move around the city and be generally more mobile. When the sellers learned who we are shopping for, they kindly gave us a substantial discount. United Help Ukraine, huge thank you for your continuous support of the Ukrainian Heroes!”
